Before when a user registers for an account on Facebook, whether it be for a  Regular Profile or a Fan Page, Facebook automatically assigns a random number to the profile url,

but now, it can be changed to a username of your choice like this,

http://www.facebook.com/yourname

  1. A 10-year- old girl who arrived from the United States on May 18 was confirmed positive on May 21 (Thursday).

Ben Southall wins Best Job in the World

The Best Job in the World, which is a six-month contract to become the Island Caretaker of the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, has now been taken by Ben Southall. The main duty is to report back to Tourism Queensland (and the world) and let everyone know what’s taking place on the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef. Arroyo declares Eid’l Adha as a national holiday

President Arroyo has declared Nov. 27 and 28 as non-working holidays in celebration of Eid’l Adha (Feast of Sacrifice).

“Flying Car” Terrafugia Transition Takes Off

The Terrafugia Transition® achieved its first flight in secrecy, at 7:40 a.m at Plattsburgh International Airport last March 5th, 2009. But the “first flight” was only revealed at a press conference in Boston Museum of Science last March 18, 2009.

More popularly known as the “flying car”, the Transition® is a roadable aircraft designed to take off and land at local airports and drive on any road. The first Transition flight lasted only 37 seconds and covered about 3,000 feet and was piloted by Phil Meteer, a retired U.S. Air Force colonel. More »
