Kris Allen wins American Idol Season 8
This season of American Idol has been all about Adam Lambert. He has been consistently praised by the judges since day 1.
But for this season, Kris Allen is leading in the votes according to DialIdol’s charts. From American Idol seasons 4 to 7, DialIdol has accurately predicted all winners of the show. But the results are still too close to call.

Ben Southall wins Best Job in the World
The Best Job in the World, which is a six-month contract to become the Island Caretaker of the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, has now been taken by Ben Southall. The main duty is to report back to Tourism Queensland (and the world) and let everyone know what’s taking place on the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef. That includes writing a blog (weekly), capturing videos and taking pictures for the island. Salary for the Best Job in the World is $111,000. More »
