May 3 2010 declared holiday
Malacañang has officially declared May 3, 2010 a non-working holiday through Proclamation 2043. This is in recognition of Labor Day (May 1) which landed on a Saturday.

The official list of Philippine holidays for 2010 was already declared by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo early this year through Proclamation 1841. The early declaration would help schools and businessmen prepare ahead.
