Henry Sy is Philippines’ richest – Forbes Asia
Henry Sy, the 83 year old, low-profile, shopping mall mogul, topped Forbes Asia’s list of Philippines’ richest. Sy and his family’s wealth has increased by US$1.4 billion despite the global financial crisis, rising from No. 2 position last year.
Lucio Tan and family moved from third to second place with a total networth of $1.5 million. But Tan’s wealth is still down by $100 million from last year.
Last year’s richest, Jaime Zobel de Ayala and family, has dropped to third place, losing a whopping $800 million. Ouch! More »
